Dear Peterite,
First of all, congratulations and welcome to St Peter’s College and Oxford University.
It’s a great honour for me to welcome you into an amazing community, an institute where you will develop skills and make friends that will be with you for years to come. Cherish your time at university, as I’m sure any finalist will agree, the time goes fast, so make the most of it.

The JCR embodies all the good things about your time at university - it provides representation, welfare, entertainment and a social environment throughout your time at St Peter's. The JCR presents masses of opportunities to its members, and I encourage you to get involved in as much as you can; only through sustained levels of participation can the JCR continue to be the vibrant and exciting community that it is today.
